FtcWindsor Course - Business Writing Skills

A corporate image relies on the image presented by all of the employees which an organisation employs.  An employee who is unable to communicate professionally and effectively through written communication mediums will negatively impact the corporate image.
This workshop is designed to assist all levels of employees to communicate professionally through written communication mediums.

 

By the end of this workshop participants will be able to:

  • Understand the importance and role of correct business writing.
  • Communicate in a professional manner using all forms of written medium such as business letters, notes, emails and memos.
  • Develop the skills necessary to utilise all forms of written medium professionally.
  • Understand when and how to use formal business writing styles.
  • Know the basic structure of agendas, email messages, business letters, business proposals, and business reports.
  • Know tips and techniques in writing agendas, email messages, business letters, business proposals, and business reports.
  • Gain an overview of Request for Proposals, Projections, Executive Summaries, and Business Cases.
  • Define proofreading and understand techniques in improving proofreading skills.
  • List guidelines in printing and publishing business writing.
